Having been in the beauty industry since the mid 80’s, Jaye has seen it all. She has studied haircutting and color with Vidal Sassoon Academy, Arrojo, Goldwell and more. Jaye loves precision cuts and hair color. Nothing is better than hearing the word perfect. She enjoys teaching classes in the salon, walking around Portland, and eating fresh food.
Claire loves adventurous color and cuts. She finds joy in transforming clients even if it’s just a simple bang trim. Claire is a voracious learner and is constantly going to classes to expand her skill set.
Originally trained as a classical singer, with a bachelor’s in voice performance from McGill University, Claire found her favorite element of performing was the transformative power of hair and makeup. She had always enjoyed experimenting with her own hair, as well as styling friends and family. After an epiphany that she could turn that hobby into a career, she enrolled in cosmetology at Empire Beauty School in Portland. She graduated in January 2014 and is now working as a level three stylist.
Kristen loves working with all hair types and all types of clients, from the most conservative look to the funkiest styles you could dream up. She also specializes in smoothing treatments.
Kristen started studying cosmetology in 2010 as an apprentice where she received all of her training hands on in a salon setting. She has been all over the world to continue her education, including New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Baltimore, NYC and Barcelona, Spain.
Her creativity doesn’t stop in the salon. In her off time you can find her sewing, making jewelry or doing a fun day craft with her step children.

She believes in learning new techniques and keeping her own skills fresh and things exciting.
